» PlayStation VR Starter Pack getting significant price drop
28-Mar-2018 - 11:27 - by GroovYF

From tomorrow, 29th March, the PSVR Starter Pack is dropping down to 259.99 (currently retailing around 350)
Quite a price drop that might see them get some more sales - I think I'll be in line to pick one up now.
For those who have been holding out, maybe now is the time...

Along with this good news comes further happiness, as a free PSVR update to the WipeOut Omega Collection is being made available today.

» Gabe Newell: "Hooray! Valve is going to start shipping games again"
10-Mar-2018 - 20:22 - by Minty
Gabe Newell has confirmed that Valve is to return its focus to video game development, following a lengthy lull in in their game output. The first of the new games is Artifact (The absolutely hilarious reaction video to its announcement can be found although they have confirmed that there is at least one single player title in the works and 3 full VR games in development (thats full length games, not VR demo/experiments).

The reason Valve gave for their time away from game development was apparently to combat Microsoft and Facebook (Oculus) attempting to make the PC a closed platform and so putting time into Linux development, Steam Machines and further hardware/software developments.
